Eddies self-catering / B&B is owned by Dawn Trevelyan. Eddies is central to the many art galleries, restaurants, pubs and interesting shops in Clarens and is only a five minute walk away from the centre of town. From Eddies accommodation guests are able to view the many atmospheres found in the surrounding mountains. Atmospheres caused by thunderstorms, rain, veldfires, mist, full moon, sunset and sunrise. It is not only the external environment that will appeal to you, but also the Eddies art gallery and the different artist's paintings which are exhibited in all the units!

Each cottage features a dining and sitting area, which incorporates the bedroom (the unbelievably comfortable king size bed can be made up as 2 single beds if preferred) and generous cupboard space. There is a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. A separate bathroom with both bath and shower completes the downstairs area. The upper mezzanine deck provides an additional play and sleeping area for two children with a double sofa bed. Sliding doors open from the room into an enclosed patio-garden which looks over lawns up to the encircling Rooiberg Mountain range. There is a flat screen TV with DSTV in the lounge and in summer you can enjoy the outside patio with its table, chairs and baby Weber type braai. There are heaters, warm duvets & electric blankets for keeping snug and warm in winter. Regret pets and smoking are not permitted.

Unit 1 - The Loft (Sleeps 4) The Loft can accommodate 4 people comfortably in 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. An elevated patio complete with garden furniture and Weber braai, welcomes guests to this haven of peace and quiet. Through the double patio doors, a comfortable lounge complete with fireplace awaits. The kitchen is uncomplicated, open plan and is fully equipped for self catering. The Loft has one bathroom. Unit 2 - The Garden Flat (sleeps 2) Directly below the Loft, is a second unit which sleeps 2 in a double bed. There is an open plan lounge and self catering kitchen. A bathroom fitted with shower, basin and toilet completes the facilities. This unit opens up directly into the beautiful garden surroundings. Unit 3 - The Welgelegen Room (sleeps 2) The third unit is called The Welgelegen Room and this is attached to the main house with a private entrance. The room is en suite and caters for 2 with a double brass bed. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The Welgelegen Room can be rented separately from The Loft but is ideal for the overflow of a bigger group or family. Linen and towels are provided for all three units. There is undercover parking on the property available for two cars.
