Other endangered species include lions, leopards, tigers, caracals, servals, wolves. We present guided tours, as well as volunteering opportunities and animal adoptions.

Eagles Eyrie Self Catering Studios are within walking distance of the beach and borders an unspoilt ravine inhabited by bushbuck, steenbok and duikers. The studio apartments consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and en-suite bath / en-suite shower, lounge area with TV / M-Net and kitchen with spacious dining area. Fairways is a stylishly furnished self catering apartment. It is sunny and bright, especially during the winter season, is fully equipped and everything is of superior quality. Complimentary tea, coffee, etc. is available. Fairways can sleep 4 guests in two luxury en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-bed and the other one twin beds. On request both can have king or twin beds. Both have sliding doors leading onto the spacious balcony for guests to enjoy the breathtaking views and scenery. The open-plan living room leading onto the balcony, has a beautifully furnished lounge area with a flat screen TV. The apartment has its own decoder and the full range of DSTV satellite channels is available. It also has a dining area for 4 guests and a modern equipped kitchenette. Complimentary tea, coffee is available. On request breakfast, at a reasonable price, could be arranged for guests at the nearby golf clubhouse or at a restaurant on the beachfront. Safe off-street parking is available. It is very safe to take long walks on the estate. From the estate It is possible to join up with a walking trail from The Point to Dana Bay. Mossel Bay has the second most moderate climate in the world and has lovely white sandy beaches. Even during the winter most days are sunny with moderate temeratures. The town offers many tourist attractions. Drive along the whale route during winter months to watch the giant mammals of the sea. Visit numerous game lodges for game drives. Walk along the historical route in town to visit the many museums and the famous Post Office Tree comlex where the navigators, centuries ago, left post under this giant tree. Visit many diverse art and craft shops, enjoy ourdoor activities like scuba diving, shark cage viewing, bungi jumping, trips to Seal Island, helicopter flips etc.

Drive through the natural beauty and encounter many species including white rhino, cape buffalo and giraffe. A wonderful new development is the oceanside lapa, overlooking the beach it is a very special place for a picnic lunch or family barbecue. In the evening relax with a drink while the sun sets and a million stars sparkle in the southern sky. By day watch dolphins and whales and be lulled by the sound of waves washing the white sand. Our game drives are exclusively available to guests, we can comfortably seat eight in the landrover. You have an excellent view of the wildlife from the vehicle and our guide will help spot the animals and get close while keeping you safe. An extensive network of tracks allows you to explore the reserve and also provides access to the beach and lapa, where you might want to enjoy a sundowner before returning to the lodge. When we have new babies or other special sightings our guide will do his best to locate them for you.
