All 6 rooms have showers-en-suite and are equipped with under floor heating, fridges, safes, TV, DVD players, sherry, homemade biscuits and hospitality trays. We have an extensive collection of DVD which are free to our guests. Outeniqua Room The Outeniqua is a family room in the garden with a queen bed and double bunks in an annex with an interleading door. Transvaal Room The Transvaal is near the braai area, has twin beds and a small kitchenette. Emily Hobhouse Room The Emily Hobhouse leads off the pub. It is a favourite with guests who know it and call it the room with a pub-en-suite. Protea & Drakensburg Rooms The Protea and the Drakensburg have twin beds. Simon van der Stel Room The Simon van der Stel has a four poster double bed. Breakfast is full English with yoghurt, fresh fruit and a choice of cereals. In winter, we serve in the dining room with a roaring fire and in summer on the breakfast deck or balcony with stunning views of the mountain and sea. The deck has a telescope and binoculars for viewing whales, dolphins, kayaks, naval vessels plus all the other activities that take place in the bay. We speak English, German, Dutch and Afrikaans.
Our accommodation consists of eight brand new self catering units as well as bed and breakfast options. Five of these units are equipped with queen-size beds and three with two single or three-quarter beds in each room. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin and rooms are equipped with linen, towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel. Each self-catering unit is equipped with a small bar fridge, microwave oven, two plate stove, cutlery, kettle, toaster and all necessary kitchen appliances and crockery. Coffee, tea, rooibos tea, milk, sugar and sweetener is provided to guests every day. Units are cleaned every day. DSTV is available as well as braai facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request providing that it is ordered beforehand. Smoking is NOT allowed in any unit. Book in before 12:00 and book out before 10:00. Facilities include transport as needed. We also supply fax facilities. Our guest house has a beautiful garden and swimming pool as well as ample safe parking. Please enquire about washing facilities. Each room also has a heater and on the veranda of each unit small wooden tables with chairs invite you to rest and enjoy the garden. We are nearby shopping centres, Medi-Clinic and other medical centres, the Peter Mokaba Stadium, golf club and most of the schools.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation: The B&B has 3 large luxury rooms, each with a full en-suite bathroom, mini-bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, comfort and privacy for our guests. Self Catering Accommodation: Each of the 6 fully equipped self-catering units on the estate has its own private entrance, two bedrooms (each with one Kingsize bed or two single beds - you can choose the configuration best suited to your requirements), a full bathroom (with bath tub and shower), kitchen and lounge area. Each unit can accommodate up to six people: two per room plus two on a double futon style sleeper couch in the lounge area. The units are fully equipped with fridges, microwaves, cutlery, pots and pans, linen, braai facilities, etc. and are serviced daily. There are braai (barbeque) facilities situated at each unit. With our Functions Venue and Accommodation all on the same premises, we provide the ideal setting for conferences, team building exercises and weddings, where out-of-town delegates or guests can stay overnight or longer. We can accommodate up to 43 delegates / guests overnight. Conferences: We can comfortably accommodate up to 100 delegates per session, depending on the seating style. You can use the facility for full day conferences, where lunch, tea or coffee and drinks are provided. Included in the price will be the use of an overhead projector, flipchart and whiteboard. Gauteng Weddings: Weddings for 60 - 80 guests. The wedding service can be held outdoors in our beautiful gardens or indoors. Die Agterplaas B&B Johannesburg, celebrates its 10th anniversary on April 1st 2009.
