The owner, Rina Fourie, recently acquired the property and developed it into this beautiful guesthouse. Rina has been a resident of Ermelo for the past 23 years and is well known by the community as a private nursing sister and for her warm and giving nature. She resides directly opposite the guesthouse and is directly involved in the day to day running of Hilton Manor, assisted by Gillian Lourens, the administrative manager. The guesthouse is a family concern with mother and daughter-in-law working side by side ensuring great commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm. Rina has gone to great lengths to achieve the level of style and comfort that Hilton Manor offers its guests. Each room is uniquely decorated with extreme attention to detail. From the electric blankets and luxurious percale linen that ensures guests sleep like Kings and Queens, to the chocolates placed on freshly laundered towels, no detail is to large or small to go un-noticed. Each of the 8 rooms has its own private entrance, which allows guests to come and go as they please. Hilton Manor offers its guests peace of mind with safes in each room as well as a remote controlled security system and secure parking behind a remote controlled gate. The lounge and dining room are richly decorated and offer a warm and cozy atmosphere in which to enjoy conversation and meals. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful and tranquil garden boasting an enchanting dome, relaxing water feature, swing and lapa which set the scene for total relaxation.

Striders, is our new lodge on the neighbouring property, it offers 4 en-suite twins, 2 ensuite triple rooms and Gandalfs self catering rondavel. It is ideal for group accommodation or foranyone wanting to stay in a quiet setting with lovely views, ensuring a good nights sleep. Camping is in the huge garden, which is well tended and at most times of the year has blooming flowers outlining the views. We have a campers ablution area, with showers and toilets.The site is first come first tent, site, with no electrical points or allocated spaces. We also have the worlds scaries treehouse and a bath tub perched on the edge of our cliff, next to the abseiling all with staggering views. Flora and Fauna is abundant. There are species of bamboo and butterfly which are only found on Hogsback's mountains. All sorts of fungi and mushrooms add to the magical feeling. The prescence of delicate mosses and Old Man's Beard indicates extremely pure air, as only a small amount of pollution will kill them. Extremely rare species such as the Cape Parrot (only 300 left in the world) and Samango Monkey are seen daily. For serious hikers, Hogsback is also the endpoint of the Amatola Trail, a demanding 106km, 5 day hike. We also offer activities ranging from hour-long forest walks to day hikes and abseiling.
