Our game drives are exclusively available to guests, we can comfortably seat eight in the landrover. You have an excellent view of the wildlife from the vehicle and our guide will help spot the animals and get close while keeping you safe. An extensive network of tracks allows you to explore the reserve and also provides access to the beach and lapa, where you might want to enjoy a sundowner before returning to the lodge. When we have new babies or other special sightings our guide will do his best to locate them for you.
Striders, is our new lodge on the neighbouring property, it offers 4 en-suite twins, 2 ensuite triple rooms and Gandalfs self catering rondavel. It is ideal for group accommodation or foranyone wanting to stay in a quiet setting with lovely views, ensuring a good nights sleep. Camping is in the huge garden, which is well tended and at most times of the year has blooming flowers outlining the views. We have a campers ablution area, with showers and toilets.The site is first come first tent, site, with no electrical points or allocated spaces. We also have the worlds scaries treehouse and a bath tub perched on the edge of our cliff, next to the abseiling all with staggering views. Flora and Fauna is abundant. There are species of bamboo and butterfly which are only found on Hogsback's mountains. All sorts of fungi and mushrooms add to the magical feeling. The prescence of delicate mosses and Old Man's Beard indicates extremely pure air, as only a small amount of pollution will kill them. Extremely rare species such as the Cape Parrot (only 300 left in the world) and Samango Monkey are seen daily. For serious hikers, Hogsback is also the endpoint of the Amatola Trail, a demanding 106km, 5 day hike. We also offer activities ranging from hour-long forest walks to day hikes and abseiling.

Twenty-seven sites are situated at sea level, with the rest on an upper level, providing visitors with a magnificent view of the sea. All the sites are reached by using a tarred road. Each site has a braai (BBQ) facility and a permanently built in table with four chairs. The entrance to the resort has an electrified gate, which is manned twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. A fence encloses the perimeter on three sides right down to the sea. The resort also has a kiosk selling basic necessities. i-Lollo Lodge has five individually decorated rooms to choose from. Our rooms have wonderful views which can be enjoyed from your very own private balcony. All rooms are supplied with tea and coffee making facilities, fridges and televisions. Separate entrances to each room allow you to come and go as you please.
