The most famous of these are whale watching from the cliffs (which are on our doorstep) or from boats or the air at the New Harbour or Gansbaai and shark cage diving from either the New Harbour or Gansbaai. Other superb options are trips to Dyer Island to see on of the largest seal colonies, wine tasting on the Hermanus or Franschhoek wine routes, a trip to Cape Agulhas to visit the most southern tip of Africa, walks on the mountains and cliff paths the magnificent display of fynbos or simply enjoying warm, wonderful days on the pristine, white Hermanus beaches.
You are within walking distance (300 metres) from the business centre, pubs and restaurants, knowing your car is safely parked off the street (a hard-to-find luxury in peak season) and less than 10 minutes walk from the Old Harbour. This is where you can catch the whales frolicking at close range. There are also several golf courses within close proximity. A full English breakfast is included in the rates.
