AgriSETA facilitates the implementation of learning through learnerships, skills programmes, adult education and training, and tertiary studies or in-service training by allocating grants and bursaries. It also supports apprentices, interns and mentorships. To ensure the quality provision of education and training, the entity is also responsible for accrediting sector-specific training providers and for monitoring the standard of training presented.

The South African State Theatre (SAST), situated in the Tshwane central business district, is one of the largest theatres in Africa. The theatre's vision is to be the premier theatre of choice for a distinctly inclusive, transformative, and innovative entertainment experience - "The home of South African theatre”. As an agency of the National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, the core mandate of the SAST is to provide access to performance spaces in which the performing arts sector creates productions that are watched by diverse audiences. Theatregoers are spoilt for choice in the diverse array of theatre productions presented by the SAST. Live performances are presented in five fully equipped theatres and other performance spaces, which include an amphitheatre situated at a secondary location in the Silverton area of Pretoria. Productions are also presented online through the SAST TV platform - a first for theatre in South Africa - which streams theatre productions to audiences across South Africa and internationally. Theatre spaces are available for hire by artists that want to stage their creative works, for theatre audiences or for recording purposes. The SAST social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are updated regularly with the latest theatre news, including announcements of new productions in which artists can participate. Audiences and artists are encouraged to regularly visit the SAST social media pages and enjoy the best of African theatre the continent has to offer.
