Forest Hills Cottage is a charming self-catering establishment on the slopes of the Constantiaberg, It is situated adjacent to the Tokai plantation with direct access to its wonderful birdlife, hiking, riding and mountain biking trails. Keep warm inside with a romantic fireplace that creates a relaxed atmosphere (strangely enough, even if not used). The living room has an inviting high back settee and a sturdy armchair. Double front doors open to reveal a small private garden. Knotty Pine high beamed rafters make for an interesting ceiling again creating a relaxed and peaceful ambience. A TV with a DVD player will entertain or soothe one after a long day exploring famous tourist attractions. To wash away the long day and freshen up, the Cottage offers an en-suite spacious shower with towels provided. Senior Citizens will appreciate the foot pedestal in the shower to rest a weary leg for scrubbing. The cozy warm bedroom is fitted with European standard 100% percale cotton sheets and pillow cases for that luxurious holiday feeling. Before closing the bedroom or lounge curtains, catch a glimpse of Silvermine Nature Reserve and try and spot Peers Cave, dare to wonder! Should the mood grab you, take a dip in the sparkling pool or simply sit on the garden furniture and watch the stars come out - Dazzling due to our perfect spot in the Valley. Accommodation consists of an open plan lounge/kitchen, bedroom (built in cupboards) with a full bathroom (bath, toilet, shower and hand basin) and double carport. The kitchen is equipped with an under counter stove and cooking hob, fridge, microwave oven as well as all the necessary cooking, baking, eating and drinking utensils you would require in a normal household (should there be any item you would still require please let us know and we will gratefully, within reason, supply it). A breakfast nook with four stools is installed in the kitchen. A couch (sleeper couch), which can also double as sleeping space for two extra guests, is in the lounge. A 66cm flat screen television with all Digital Satellite Television channels is installed in the lounge. The bedroom is fitted with a double bed as well as ample storing and hanging space in the built in cupboards. A security safe for the storing of your valuables is also installed in one of the bedroom cupboards. All bedroom linen and towels including beach towels are supplied. Additional equipment and items you would require include the following: two beach chairs, beach umbrella, portable braai, weber braai and a baby camper cot. We have housed in the main residence ADSL Internet connectivity at your disposal and use should you so wish. A brick paved area surrounds the modern cottage with ample parking for your invited guests. Lavender Cottage Plettenberg Bay is approximately five minutes walk from the Beacon Island shopping centre where you can find the following retail outlets: Spar Supermarket, pharmacy, video shop, liquor store, restaurant, petrol filling station and estate agency. The popular Central and Robberg beaches are approximately ten minutes walk away from us.
