Sectors
Imbali for Her is SEDFA's women's lending window. Loans go up to R5 million at prime minus 3%, and prime minus 5% for women entrepreneurs with disabilities, which is cheaper than any commercial bank will offer a small business.
The fund covers the same uses as SEDFA direct lending (stock, equipment, vehicles, expansion, contract finance) but with a lighter security requirement and pricing designed for businesses that banks pass over.
Who qualifies
Business at least 51% owned and managed by South African women; registered and tax compliant; viable and able to repay.
