Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work overtime, shifts, public holidays, night duty and weekends. Willingness to rotate to other wards in the hospital. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills (written and verbal). Self- discipline and motivation.
