About

On my arrival here, 9 years ago to establish a network for a chemical concern in the southern part of Africa it was supposed to be only for a short while. That was so until I slept the first time under the stars of the vast African sky. The roaring of the lions, the sound of the birds, the magic of the bush it was imprinted in my head and in my heart. After over 20 years of managing on of the largest chemical concerns, traveling the world, this was the first time that I felt - I am at home! Here is where I want to live, I want to work with the wonderful people of this country, travel with friends through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique and show them the beauty this magical place has to offer. It had to become reality! I took all my savings, and had the opportunity to buy and old Slave house, dating back to the 17th century, in the historical part of Cape Town - De Waterkant. Together with my sister Jutta, an architect, we transformed this ancient building in a designer lodge and named it after my stepson Cedric... "Cedric's Lodge".
